November 1935

Yoshimi Shida Company was founded by Mr. Yoshimi Shida. The main business was trading
of straw-related products.
 

March 1950

Shida Company Limited was founded with initial capital of \200,000.
 

March 1969

The first step to modern packaging processing: launched the processing of polystryene
"Aspac" of Asahi Kasei Corporation.

 

August 1970

Entry to cushion packaging design and processing industry: launched the processing of
"Suntec Foam" of Asahi Kasei Corporation
 

November 1970

Mr. Yoshio Shida became the president
 

June 1974

Initial Capital raised to \10,000,000
 

January 1976

Moved to Sendai Warehouse Estate and began warehouse business (Block B, Tohoku Warehouse Licence 47-3, 17)
 

December 1976

Trademark register for the company logo acquired
 

July 1979

Multi-purpose packaging production: Sendai Factory was completed and vacuum forming
was started.

 

October 1988

Packaging design room was established in order to develop high performance products
 

September 1990

Launched processing of "Sunply" of Sumitomo Kasei
 

November 1994

Company name changed to Sydek Corporation
 

January 1996

Osaka office opened
 

February 1996

I.Sydek Original Package Co., Ltd. was founded in Hong Kong.
It is responsible for supplying packaging products to Japanese clients in China and
providing handy on-site services.
 

August 1996

Quailty assurance division was introduced so as to strengthen the management system

Initial captial raised to \50,000,000

Iwate office opened

Outsourcing from Sendai factory began
